NEW HORIZONS

NEW HORIZONS:  These Two Words have several layers I wish to share – along with a rather unique invitation.   Read on …

Outer Space …
Firstly, New Horizons is an interplanetary space probe, launched from Cape Canaveral on 19th January 2006 as part of NASA’s “New Frontiers” program, to perform a flyby study of the Pluto system and the Kuiper belt.  New Horizons initially did a Jupiter flyby and then, on 15th January 2015, it began its approach phase to Pluto – the first spacecraft to explore the dwarf planet.
Next stage – a flyby of Kuiper belt, a circumstellar disc consisting of remnants from the Solar System’s formation, and home to Pluto and two other dwarf planets.
As you can imagine there is a lot more to it than this!
Space – an endlessly fascinating subject that is almost too mind-boggling to comprehend. And definitely all about New Horizons.

Cruising …

[UPDATE, May 2016 - I am now planning to take the New Horizons cruise next year, in November 2017 (rather than Nov this year).  I will post info when details are confirmed - but reading the info below will give you a flavour of what it will be all about.  2017 cruise will be Venice to Havana]

Meanwhile, back here on Earth – New Horizons is the name of a rather extraordinary and unique travel opportunity to take you across the globe with fun and enlightenment!
Cruising is such a great way to travel - and in November this year, 2016, I will be taking a group on a very special 25-day Grand Voyage cruise with MSC Cruises.
We’ll fly from Auckland up to Milan, embark the MSC Armonia in Genoa, Italy and cruise all the way to Havana, Cuba.  This is an amazing opportunity to cruise through the Mediterranean, via some fabulous ports en route, then across the Atlantic, calling in to various Caribbean island ports before docking in Havana.  We’ll then head back to NZ through Santiago, Chile for a brief taste of South America.
I will be running short workshops (creation/inspiration/fun) on the at-sea days, as well as a series of evening events and social gatherings designed with fun in mind.  The Programme is all about Exploration, Discovery and Reflection - the sessions will get creative juices and laughter flowing and offer a framework for getting the best out of life.
This is an all-inclusive package at a truly affordable and FANTASTIC price.  Everything is taken care of – flights, transfers, accommodation, all meals and service charges on board, as well as my tailor-made New Horizons Programme, which is a new initiative in the world of cruising.
MSC is the only major cruise line with Havana as a home port – and this is a great time to visit Cuba before things change too much.  I am really looking forward to taking our New Horizons group beyond expectations!

Come join me!  See all the details in the flyer below ...

Important point:  There are so many new horizons to be discovered and this is the chance of a lifetime. It's an interesting and unusual itinerary, giving you a taste of so many places.  If you don’t do it this year, you’ll just be another year or more older when, or if, you do it at all.   Life is short, do it now! If you're not based in NZ, no matter, come on the cruise part!

For more details, full itinerary and booking info email me sally@beyondlimits.co.nz or phone me on +64 21 480323.  Feel free to ask any questions whatsoever!

NB: Yes, this is a little shameless self-promotion – but it’s more about alerting people to a unique opportunity than anything else. If you don't know about it, you can't come on it!  My Two Words blogs will be more reflective than promotional, but this a truly unique opportunity I want to share as far and wide as I can!

If the cruise appeals and you live outside of NZ, MSC can sort something to suit so that you can join this special New Horizons cruise from wherever you are.
